According to NIRF Rankings 2025, the top universities in India are: IIT Madras (Overall #1), IIT Bombay (#2), IIT Delhi (#3), IIT Kharagpur (#4), and IISc Bangalore (#5). JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration is expected to open in October 2025 and the last date to apply is likely in November 2025. Session 2 registration typically opens in February 2026. Candidates must apply on the official NTA website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). Required documents include Class 10 & 12 marksheets, Aadhaar card, passport-size photo, and category certificates if applicable.

NEET 2025 qualifying cutoff percentile is 50th percentile for General category, 40th for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th for General-PwD. For AIIMS Delhi MBBS admission, students typically need 700+ marks out of 720. Government medical college cutoffs vary by state — most state government MBBS seats require 550–650 marks for General category. Check individual state counselling websites for exact cutoffs.

You can apply for engineering scholarships through: 1) National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in) for central government schemes. 2) AICTE Pragati & Saksham scholarships for girl and differently-abled students in AICTE-approved institutes. 3) State government portals — each state has its own merit and means-based scholarship programs. 4) University-specific scholarships offered by IITs, NITs, and private universities. Most scholarships require a valid income certificate and academic merit.

CAT 2025 eligibility requires candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) from a recognised university. Final year graduation students can also apply provisionally. There is no age limit for CAT. The exam is conducted by IIMs on rotation basis and valid for one year for IIM admissions. Results and shortlisting also depend on work experience, academic diversity, and performance.

BITS Pilani admissions are done through BITSAT (BITS Admission Test), a computer-based online exam. Eligibility requires 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 (for General category). BITS has three campuses: Pilani (Rajasthan), Goa, and Hyderabad. Courses offered include BE, MSc, and integrated degree programs. BITSAT 2025 registration opens in January and the exam is conducted May–June. There is no JEE requirement for BITS admission.
