Who qualifies for PM Scholarship Scheme?+
Wards (son/daughter) and widows of ex-servicemen, ex-coast guard, and ex-RPF/RPSF personnel. The ward must be enrolled in a professional degree course (BE, MBBS, BDS, MBA, BCA, BBA, BSc Agriculture, BEd, etc.) at a recognised institution.
What courses are covered under PM Scholarship?+
Professional courses including BE/BTech, MBBS, BDS, BPharm, MBA, BCA, BBA, BSc Agriculture, BEd, BSc Nursing, LLB, and equivalent technical courses at AICTE/UGC/MCI/BCI-approved institutions. Pure science or arts courses (BA, BCom, BSc General) are NOT covered.
How long is the PM Scholarship renewable?+
The scholarship is renewable for the complete duration of the course (up to 5 years). Each year, the student must submit a renewal application on NSP with the marksheet of the previous year showing minimum 50% marks.
