What BITSAT score is needed for BITS Pilani CSE?+
BITS Pilani CSE (Pilani campus) requires approximately 360+ out of 390 in BITSAT for General category. Goa CSE needs 340+ and Hyderabad CSE needs 330+. BITSAT has -1 negative marking, so accuracy is crucial.
Is JEE required for BITS Pilani admission?+
No. BITS Pilani does not consider JEE scores. Admission is entirely through BITSAT. However, students with perfect score in Class 12 board exams (100% in PCM) are directly offered admission without BITSAT | this is the BITS Direct Admission scheme.
What is the BITSAT exam pattern?+
BITSAT has 130 questions: Physics (30), Chemistry (30), Mathematics (45), English & Logical Reasoning (25). Each correct answer gives +3 marks, each wrong answer gives -1. If you finish all 130 questions, 12 bonus questions appear (4 each in PCM).
Can I give BITSAT in 2 sessions?+
Yes. BITSAT 2026 is conducted in 2 windows. You can attempt the exam in both windows. The higher of the two scores will be considered for admission. This gives candidates a second chance to improve their score.
