DAU carries a NAAC A+ grade and is classed as a private state university, so older descriptions such as "government-aided autonomous institute" are outdated.
• ACPC 2026 counselling is complete. The mock round ran 12–15 June, the merit list came on 17 June, Round 1 allotment on 25 June, Round 2 on 15 July (2:00 PM) and Round 3 on 25 July, with a final Government/GIA online round on 1 August 2026. More than 78,000 seats were still open after Round 1, which is why Round 2 and Round 3 cutoffs drop sharply for many private colleges.
