Several scholarships are available for students admitted to colleges in Bangalore. Karnataka government offers the Karnataka Rajyotsava Scholarship, SC/ST fee concessions, and OBC post-matric scholarships through the e-Scholarship portal. Central government scholarships like the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) schemes are also applicable.
IISc offers fellowships for all research students. IIM Bangalore provides need-based financial assistance. Private colleges like Christ and Jain offer merit scholarships based on Class 12 scores. Students with KCET ranks under 1,000 may also be eligible for fee waivers at BMSCE.
